Flux Weave is a tile-rotation puzzle with a small board and a heavy rule-stack. Rotating one tile shifts its four neighbours by one notch each. The win state aligns all tiles into a single colour band. The compound rule is what makes the format work; rotations have a clear local effect and a less clear global one.
The board count sits at fifty. The first ten teach the rule one step at a time. Boards eleven through thirty introduce immovable anchor tiles. Boards thirty-one to fifty add multi-colour bands. The progression is steady and the boards never feel like padding.
I played across a Saturday afternoon and two Cork Cork commuter rail morning rides. Each board runs three to ten minutes depending on tier.
The flaw is the undo system. Undo rewinds one rotation at a time and on the harder boards you sometimes need to rewind ten rotations to test a hypothesis. A multi-step undo or a board snapshot would help. Three-and-a-half stars overall; the format is honest and the undo UI pulls the rating down.
